Introduction

The world is undergoing a radical shift toward the digital economy. Technical and programming skills have become the new language of production and innovation, and technology is no longer a sector separate from development it is the intellectual infrastructure of any society aiming to rebuild its economy and reshape its place in the global landscape.

Syrian youth face exceptional challenges imposed by years of war, displacement, and weakened education and economic infrastructure. Yet these challenges have also revealed an untapped human potential sharp, capable of self-learning, and ready to enter the digital world when given the right opportunity and tools.

TECH50K is a national development initiative aiming to build a future-ready Syrian digital generation, via a graduated path from foundational digital skills to software development, AI, data, cybersecurity, and web.

Strategic Goals

Build a national foundation of digital and technical skills

Train at least 50,000 Syrian youth in technology fields, from foundational digital literacy up to professional levels.

Strengthen digital employment and create sustainable jobs

Equip beneficiaries with the technical, practical, and professional skills needed to compete locally and globally.

Empower Syrian women digitally and economically

Encourage women's participation in the technical workforce through targeted tracks and supportive activities.

Establish a sustainable national digital-learning ecosystem

Build an Arabic + English national learning platform with continuously updated content, extensible to other digital domains.

Contribute to knowledge-based reconstruction

Channel projects toward development and reconstruction in vital sectors: education, health, public services, and government.

TECH50K aims to spark a Syrian digital renaissance one that makes the Syrian individual an active maker of the digital future, not just a consumer.
